Pregovaranje je uvijek škakljiva situacija u poslovnom odnosu jer svaka strana vodu na svoj mlin tjera, a opet obje strane imaju zajedničke interese. Kad se pak radi o kritičnim pitanjima, rasprave se zahuktaju čak i kad strane nastoje obraćati se jedna drugoj u rukavicama. Sve je još teže kad se pregovori o kritičnim pitanjima odvijaju na stranom jeziku, a znanje nam ne dopušta da izrazimo sve one nijanse i insinuacije koje bismo izrazili na materinjem jeziku ili pak da pročitamo između redaka onoga što je druga strana rekla tečno na stranom jeziku.
Pregovaranje na engleskom jeziku
Kako biste stekli malo više jezičnog samopouzdanja u pregovaranju, predlažemo da savladate neke od ponuđenih formula koje možete upotrijebiti u dolje navednim situacijama.
1.Ne slažete se s drugom stranom, ali ne želite to direkno reći te dajete neki svoj prijedlog.
– Your suggestion is undoubtedly possible, but we might also consider some other alternatives.
– I am willing to consider your offer if we could just make some changes to it.
– I am happy to comply with your request, but I’m afraid there may be some situations where I won’t be able to do this in full.
– I’m prepared to make some concessions, but shall we first look at all the options.
– From my point of view, it makes more sense for us to make decisions once we have the necessary information.
2. Najradije biste rekli “Nonsense!” na prijedlog druge strane, ali nastojite ostati mirni.
– I’m sorry, but I have to disagree with you on this point.
– I don’t think you and I have the same opinion on this issue.
– I have a completely different opinion on that.
– I’m not sure I would agree with that.
– I must say, I don’t find it easy to discuss.
3. Uvjeravate drugu stranu da prihvati vaš prijedlog.
– I assure you this plan can work out for both our companies.
– Don’t you think you should consider all the options before you make a decision?
– Can I assure you that we will do everything in our power to accommodate your needs?
– Surely you must agree that a better solution can be found.
– There is no doubt this strategy is successful.
